Ecore Exclusive Surfacing Sponsor of NPGL

Ecore, a company that transforms reclaimed waste into unique performance surfacing, is the exclusive surfacing sponsor of the National Pro Grid League (NPGL). Grid is the world's first professional spectator sport with co-ed teams that compete in strategic athletics racing. Teams from across the USA compete with each other physically and strategically on a grid. Ecore provided 11,100-square-feet of Performance Monster in ES00 Basic Black for the competition floor, warm-up zone, and training area.

"Custom-made for extreme strength and conditioning, this 22.5mm system features a 10.5mm Performance Beast Roll field united to a 12mm ShockPad. The resulting triple durometer system, which is comprised of 3 layers of rubber, combines the durability and firm footing desired in strength training with the ergonomic demands of aggressive functional training, enabling these athletes to perform their best on a safe surface."

The NPGL consists of professional teams representing eight major US cities that compete from August through September for the championship. Each two-hour match features two 14-person teams (7 men, 7 women, one of each being over 40 years old) going head to head in 11 fast races. Grid races are easy to follow and are played with pre-set rules and unlimited substitutions designed to force teams to strategize.
